Credit Cards in Excel

Q: I need to enter credit card numbers on my Excel spreadsheet but the last number always turns to a zero. What's going on?

A: By design, Excel saves to a maximum of 15 digits. You can store 16 or more digits by first formatting the cell(s) as text (Format > Cells: Number and select Text).
