It Started With A Need
It all started in 1998.
Where we were consultants for the commercial fishing industry ourselves.
Whenever the time came to get paid, we whipped up ugly word and excel invoices and handed those in to our client’s accountants.
Worst part, our clients would use our own invoices as an excuse to pay us late.
“Why don’t you guys find a less complicated way for invoicing us or something?”, shouted one of my client’s accountant one day.
That was it . . .
Something needed to be done here because the time, energy and excuses from late-paying clients just pushed us to edge.

A Solution is Born
We soon launched BYG Software back in 1999 and haven’t looked back since. After creating various accounting and invoicing solutions for several mid-size and enterprise businesses for almost 2 decades, we set out to create something cloud-based.
This is where we are today.
